It Has Changed the Way I Communicate

» My Story
I still remember the moment, more than 20 years ago now, when an experienced communication trainer asked whether I could imagine working as a trainer and coach myself. My first reaction was hesitation. But it did not take me long to discover that this was exactly where my strengths lay: recognising potential in people, helping them achieve what they set out to do, and encouraging them to explore new ground.
The positive response from participants confirmed that I was on the right track, and this gave me the confidence to keep building on it over the years. Since then, I have worked with executives, teams and organisations in a wide variety of settings, from media and communication training to demanding transformation processes and questions of leadership, collaboration and personal development.
What continues to drive me is the conviction that lasting change rarely comes from pressure. It grows, far more often, where people are able to gain clarity, find new perspectives and develop confidence in their own abilities.
My coaching and training are grounded in well established insights from psychology and communication science. At the same time, every coaching engagement and every training session is as individual as the people taking part. That is why my focus is never on methods or standard solutions, but on what will actually help in your specific situation.
